Changing the World One Story at a Time
"Struggling to survive the dismantling and stripping of these uncertain, disorienting, and troubling times, I realize my theology is woefully inadequate, my relationship with God is more transactional than intimate, and my godliness is more "form" and performance than authentic and grounded.
Beyond These Shores provides for me the practical support and encouragement I need: to resist the temptation to run away from the necessary "dying" to seek comfort; to surrender to the transforming work of Love in the dismantling and stripping; to experience a life-giving "wholeness and holiness"(Eph `1:3-5 MSG) for my joy and the blessing of the world.
In the "container" of the ministry of BTS, my theology evokes wonder and awe. My faith is more embodied. My relationship with God, myself, and others is becoming more intimate, authentic, generous, compassionate, genuine. And I am tasting the "newness of life" and the "freedom in Christ" the apostle Paul describes.
